my favorite science app, information dense and easy to navigate. the only downside is that they havent updated the UI since iPhone 4!

The doesnt have the same features the pictures in the ad have.

Was looking for a simple monthly lunar phase calendar and stumbled on this great app. Was pleasantly surprised on ease of location set-up, options and graphics. When I configured the app this morning, sitting outside with the iPod touch, I looked up at the waning gibbous moon and then down at the screen. The views were identical. I was more than please with the purchase. Also like the option of choosing the naming the full moons. Many Kudos to the developer...

This is my favorite iphone app. It is so well written that most other apps dissapoint me in comparison.

It there was a possiblity of having some new moonskins added. I even pay... Just a though to a great app. Still love the werewolf alert. :)

The fake wolf howl is so representative of our low-class culture. Perfect!

Nice design and interface, gives current info without Internet signal.

Information is presented well. It would be a 5 star for observing if the lunar colongitude was included. I know of no App for the iPad which includes it at present. Be the first! James

Why have this? Because some like me believe stocks & commodities rise and fall with moon phases. Check out the Mkt low in March 2009: full moon. Call me krazy but it works. This is best moon viewer Ive found: it works!

Very handy for letting me know the lunar phases were in or going to be in. Handy for planning various tasks and events. Ive used this app for years now. Would love to see a similar app for all the planets as well.

they have done what is asked of them with the zodiac added to this a while back ago. The only other thing now would to be for it to be added into my calendar on my iPad. Dont know if there is a way to do that so I thought I would put it out there. It would be so nice to be able to open my ical on my iPad and see when the full moons and new moons are and all of the moons in the middle like a normal calendar. Again thanks so much

I have been using MoonPhase for over 2 years now. The App is stable, packed full of features, and very accurate. I found it invaluable when I took an astronomy class at university. It really helped having MoonPhase as a verification tool to aid me in understanding the lunar calendar and movements of the moon through the zodiac. The app is done so well, it can used in planning your planting, fishing, and other events (many of which I have done successfully). The developer is very responsive to change requests. The lunar calendar tab was of particular interest to me a while back and I was so glad to see it added to the app not long after I sent along a request for it (along with why I thought it would be useful).

I got this app when it first came out and have been using it ever since, so I thought it was about time I wrote a review. In terms of accuracy it simply incomparable. From a design standpoint the interface is easy to use, and like most Apple software, it is also easy on the eyes. I belong to a local star gazing club and its invaluable.

Very helpful app, I love all the different options for the calendar months and views of the moon! The compass feature is awesome as well!

To the point. Have had this app for years now (since 2nd gen. iPod touch came out and I still love it.

Very informative, accurate, and aesthetically pleasing. The help section is very thorough and is, well.. helpful!
