I love to keep track of the moon. I believe it has an affect on our life. I wanted an app with a full calendar, one I could look back to other dates and find information about and, of course, an attractive interface. An unexpected feature of the app is that it gives the full moon names using Calendar month, Native American, Wiccan and others. However, I was unhappy to find it didnt have Chinese lunar names. Of all the names it "should" have, that would be it. When you look back at a certain date, perhaps decades ago, you can also set a specific time. One small problem, however, you should be able to tap a key to return to today. You cant. You have to scroll back to today. But, at least it offers the feature to look back. The bottom line is, this is a nice app and Im glad its universal. Thats probably why they doubled the cost. One other feature thats needed, in my opinion, are push notifications. Some people, like myself, like to be notified when there is a full moon --- or when one is expected within the next few hours or a day.

Ive had this app for years, it rocks and theres no other that competes.

This app gives me a quick peek every day into where Mama Luna is and what shes up to. Especially love the astrological additions. If this could be combined with menstrual tracking, it would be perfect!

The amount of information conveyed cleanly and elegantly is extraordinary. Beyond being useful in too many ways to enumerate, the intuitive design makes it easy to use. This is a beautiful tool that appeals to my graphic design sensibilities.

Love the howl - there is nothing else like it! Love to see local notifications so I dont miss the howl.

I dont know why anyone would say that this app has poor/simplistic graphics or text or UI. Exactly the opposite is true. ALL of the important information is displayed cleanly, clearly, and beautifully, and the UI is intuitive and easy to use. If youre an astronomer, there might be a better app, more suited to naked eye or binocular observation of the moon. But if youre coming from a more Pagan orientation, then this app is perfect. You see the moons orientation and phase exactly as observed from your location (if you want--there are options) and you get rise and set times of both sun and moon, the constellation the moon is in, its elevation, its name, lunation, exact days/times for new, 1st quarter, full, and 3rd quarter moons, ephemeris data, an indication if there will be an eclipse, a calendar of upcoming moon phases, and more. All you probably want, really! I also use Sol: Sun Clock in conjunction with Moon Phase--they make a great pairing! Anyway, Moon Phase is great! And, also it has NEVER crashed or glitched on me even once in my year or so of using it. Five stars.

I love this app. It is accurate and has a well-designed user interface. It packs a great deal of information into a tiny space without making it feel cramped - well done!

Ive had a version of this app for since…forever. And by forever I mean since it was the only one out there. Worth the cost.

This is an excellent app for finding the phase of a moon for a given date. This app displays an entire calendar month with images of the moon phase for each day. Navigation is easy, set up is easy, finding moon phases is simple, direct, visual, intuitive, and fast. Great app!

Accurate info on not only the moons phase on any given date, but also give info on moon & sun rise & set, and a lot of extras. Great, simple app.
